Triple Layer Stamping - looks tricky but really isn't

Hi folks - I hope you are all well?

I know I've been MIA for a few weeks - sorry! Here are a few cards I made and I even did a quick video for the one on the right which you can find on my YouTube channel but I didn't manage a blog post as it takes me so long.  I tend to waffle - perhaps you noticed!!

Oh and I also put together some Survival Kits for a girls weekend in Rome, Italy. Six of us went on a two night city break and we had an absolute ball. We were truly blessed with glorious weather and it is such an amazing place. I need to go again as we didn't have enough time to see everything!

The girls loved their survival kits, which had tissues, plasters, paracetamol, hand sanitiser, hand cream, chewing gum, chocholate etc!

Since coming home, the first chance I've had to do any crafting was today so I decided to try triple layer stamping, which is something I've not done in a while and I love the way my card turned out. This colour combination - Rich Razzleberry, Sweet Sugarplum, Blushing Bride and Sahara Sand - is gorgeous. I used floral images from the Blooms & Wishes photopolymer stamp set (#141784) and added a butterfly die cut with a Big Shot using the smallest detailed die from the Bold Butterfly Framelits Dies (#138135). The card is finished off with some retired/ing ribbon and Basic pearls.

The card base is A6 ie half a sheet of A4 cut in half and scored at 10.5cm. The layers are:-

10cm x 14.4cm - whisper white
8cm x 12.4cm - rich razzleberry
7.5cm x 10.4cm - whisper white
5.5cm x 8.4cm - rich razzleberry
5cm x 7.9cm - whisper white

So here is the video - enjoy! I am so happy to have reached the milestone of 100 subscribers to my YouTube channel. As a prize I will send a bundle of the cards I've made to the first subscriber to email me at lynniecdesigns@gmail.com - just send me your address!

Global Design Project 085 - Colour Challenge

Hi folks

I'm back again playing along with the Global Design Project #085 which is a Colour challenge! Basically one person is selected as a Guest Designer for the next Colour Challenge. How amazing would that be?

It is an exciting time at Stampin' Up! with a new annual catalogue coming out soon. As a demonstrator I have already seen the catalogue and there have been lots of sneak peaks posted on social media. My fellow demonstrators who were lucky enough to go to OnStage last month in Amsterdam have been able to pre-order lots of new goodies - that's just one of the perks of being a demonstrator.

It's also a bittersweet time because we have to say goodbye to the 2016-2017 In-Colours and other products.

For my entry, I've used my favourite three colours from the retiring In-Colours - Tip Top Taupe, Watermelon Wonder & Mint Macaron. In fact, everything I used is retiring including the Grateful Bunch photopolymer stamp set and Blossom Bunch punch.
I felt the card needed a bit more dimension and wanted to give the butterflies a sense of movement so stamped them again on a scrap whisper white card stock so I could punch them out with the Bitty Butterfly punch - I love the way they look.

I'm so happy with the way the card turned out. It's hard to show on the photo's but as well as adding a bit of bling I've used my Wink of Stella brush to add a bit of shimmer to the butterflies and flowers.
